Joseph Swan will unearthed by website Ancestry.co.uk

THE will of a North East pioneer whose invention changed the world has been revealed. Chemist Joseph Swan invented the light bulb in 1879 – a bright idea that has gone on to illuminate households across the globe ever since.

Swan died in May 1914 at the age of 86 and now, 98 years after his death, his will has been unearthed in a collection held by family history website www.Ancestry.co.uk for more click here
