Awful squiggle but it rings a Bell: First drawing of a telephone system by inventor in 1878 letter goes up for auction

A letter from the inventor of the telephone, Alexander Graham Bell, to his parents, in which he includes a rare picture of the device and gives them some safety tips on using it, is up for auction. The missive, being sold by New Hampshire-based RR Auction, was written by Bell to his father in 1878 after a ‘lightning accident’ threatened the integrity of his fledging invention. for more click here
