ALLEN — It is an odd and mysterious relict of centuries past. There are secrets and revelations written on tobacco-colored pages bound within the worn sheepskin cover with its brownish color. It records business dealings and information on the Kibble, Insley and Whayland families that once lived in what is now known as Trinity, an early community that was located where Wicomico Creek empties into the Wicomico River, also the site of the old Collins Wharf. This was apparently the site of significant shipping and commerce in the 18th century. for more click here
