Genealogists are barking up the wrong tree

One can only marvel at Roy Blackmore’s diligence. The 76-year-old from Somerset has just unveiled the world’s biggest family tree: a triumph of amateur genealogy that began in 1980, before home computers and the internet, and took him on a paper trail all the way back to Cerdic of Wessex (AD500), via Henry I and Alfred the Great. for more click here
