Britain’s WW2 evacuee children to get their own memorial at last

They fled the bomb-torn towns and cities in their hordes to start new lives with strangers in the country for the duration of the Second World War.
And now 70 years after the evacuation of 3.5million children, the first national memorial commemorating one of Britain’s biggest ever social upheavals is planned for outside St Paul’s Cathedral. for more click here
