Last surviving Australian World War II Victoria Cross recipient dies

Ted Kenna, the last surviving Australian winner of the Victoria Cross in World War II, died last night.

Mr Kenna earned his honour for an encounter with the Japanese near Wewak, New Guinea, on May 15, 1945, while serving as a private with the 2nd/4th Australian Infantry Battalion. for more click here
