Forgotten tale of Highland troops at Dunkirk

In May 1940, the beaches of Dunkirk were crammed with battle-weary allied troops, stranded men and their artillery cut off by the German army. The battle of Dunkirk was a heavy burden for the soldiers, the air thick with the pall of defeat, until a hastily assembled fleet of Navy vessels, merchant and private boats departed from Britain to rescue them. for more click here
