Women’s Royal Air Force (WRAF) (1914 – 1918)

The Women’s Royal Air Force (WRAF) was formed on 1 April 1918. At the same time the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) and the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS) came together to form the Royal Air Force (RAF). The WRAF included volunteers from the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC), Women’s Legion drivers and the Women’s Civilian Subordinates. for more click here
