Parliamentry Report on the Petition for a Leith Museum

The Convener: PE1083, from John Arthur, calls on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to support the creation of local museums such as the proposed Leith museum. The petition has received 72 signatures.

The Public Petitions Committee must be really popular with members of the Parliament, as we have with us another non-committee member who is keen to engage with us in an open way. Malcolm Chisholm represents the area that would contain the proposed Leith museum. Members have before them a letter from George Foulkes saying that he is supportive of options relating to the proposed Leith museum. I invite Malcolm Chisholm to speak to the committee. for more click here
