Family reunions smaller but still alive and well

We’re deep in what might be referred to as “family reunion season,” and I had the opportunity to speak in late July at two such gatherings, one in northern New Jersey and the other in Port Trevorton, a small Snyder County village on the west side of the Susquehanna River.
The New Jersey reunion was held by the Swackhamer-Dufford Genealogical Society (there are interrelations between these two families) and commemorated the 275th anniversary of the settlement of Samuel Swackhamer in that area known as “German Valley.” for more click here
