Mass. Korean War hero’s remains identified

WASHINGTON – The remains of a decorated Army corporal from Randolph as well as two other servicemen who went missing during the Korean War have been identified, Department of Defense officials say.

Cpl. Robert Imrie, of Randolph, Sgt. Donald Trent, of Crab Orchard, W. Va. and Cpl. Samuel Wirrick of Lancaster, Pa. were all members of the 2nd Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division that came under heavy attack from Chinese forces near the Chongchon River in North Korea in late November 1950. for more click here
