Novels give life to writer’s ancestors

Creating family genealogies can put researchers into historic time capsules. Peeling away generations discloses the interesting times our ancestors lived in, those years expressed as a dash between the dates of birth and death.
Doris Provencher Faucher, a Biddeford writer, wondered how her French ancestors lived their lives as immigrant settlers in Nouvelle France in the mid-1600s. She decided to write about what life was like for them. for more click here
