Albert could have been king!

WHEN retired engineer Albert Turnbull delved into his Cumbrian ancestry, he unearthed proof that royal blood is running through his veins.

Determined to trace back his family tree as far as he could, the genealogy expert found himself on a historical journey that led from a Cumbrian family called Threlkeld to the present-day royal family.

The revelation means that in theory, Albert, a direct descendent of Alfred the Great and a 23rd cousin of Prince Charles, could rightfully have a claim to the throne. for more click here
