‘SLAVERY: EPISODE OF SHAME’ SAYS CAMERON NO APOLOGY

Conservative party leader David Cameron has described Britain’s role in the trans-Atlantic slave trade as ‘an episode of shame’, but has refused to back calls for an official apology for the greatest crime against humanity in modern history. Speaking exclusively to The Voice, Mr Cameron said he would support a national Slavery Remembrance Day but dismissed the idea of an apology by the British government. for more click here
