SOME COMMENTS ON STEREOTYPES OF THE ANGLO-INDIANS
The Anglo-Indian community through time has been subjected to various stereotypes which are discernible in academic sources, the offerings of journalism, and in colloquial attitudes. Several of the stereotypes discussed in this paper have maintained similar motifs in keeping with Lieberson’s (1985) comments on the fixity of stereotypes as they are passed intact from one generation to the next.
