Real personalities stand out in Osceola history

In the world of newspapers, writers pick one-word names, called slugs, for their stories. It helps editors keep track of stories in the electronic world of today’s newspapering. A colleague, now long gone, named every story he wrote, DOOMSDAY. It freaked out the young editors, which I think was my colleague’s plan.

I’ve named this one “thisistheend,” taking the title from the dark 1967 song written by Floridian Jim Morrison, the late frontman for The Doors. for more click here
