Genealogy Today: Citing Internet sources

It seems as if one of my grandchildren is assigned to write a school report every month. Taylor just finished one on Egyptian hieroglyphics, and she is working on her current-events report. I don’t recall having to write as many reports as today’s schoolchildren do. While it is a bit tedious, the students are learning valuable skills. One of them is to cite their sources.

Taylor had to prepare a list of all of her sources using the proper format. That was just fine when she cited a book. Books have authors, titles, publishers and dates when they were published. However, she only used three books. She also used three Internet sites, and citing them is more difficult. for more click here
