They seek DNA to test whether skeleton is Jamestown founder

Far from the site of a 400-year-old fort on the James River near Williamsburg that became America’s first permanent English settlement, archaeologists hope to dig beneath the floors of two ancient churches in search of DNA from relatives of one of the settlement’s most important founders.
