Sharing that family affair

Of all the uses to which people put their computers (the printable uses, at least) hardly any is more popular than researching a family tree.

The internet is the ideal tool for this, especially now that public records agencies around the world are making their data available electronically.

But once you’ve labelled the branches of your tree, what do you do with the information? There’s plenty of genealogy software that will help you make sense of it, but your aim ultimately should be to put it back into the public domain, where your newly-discovered relatives can share it.
