Shetland Family History Society

Shetland Family History Society is one of many similar societies, operating worldwide, through which members share a mutual interest in Family History.
The Society brings together those studying genealogy and family history in that group of islands known as Shetland situated in the north sea between Scotland and Norway

Genealogy is a rewarding and absorbing subject which requires a good deal of time and patience.

Many of our members have been studying their family history for many years while others have just started.

All enjoy the detective work, especially when they pull out surprises!
