The Irish Family History Foundation

Welcome to the Irish Family History Foundation – your gateway to discovering all about your Irish ancestry, roots, genealogy and family history from anywhere in Ireland. The Irish Family History Foundation covers the 32 counties of Ireland, North, South, East and West.
You will find links to the Irish Family History Foundation centre for each county. Some counties have more than one centre.

Through them you can have research carried out on your family history from the millions of genealogical records they have gathered over the years.

The Irish Family History Foundation is the co-ordinating body for a network of government approved genealogical research centres in the Republic of Ireland (Eire) and in Northern Ireland which have computerised tens of millions of Irish ancestral records of different types.
