The story and picture of 1941 from the Daily Express. It was first published on the 2oth February of that year and went around the world. The story was about how Freddie Harrison aged six became the hero of London by saving his sister Winifred and his baby sister Joybell from their bombed and shattered house. The picture appeared in one hundred and twenty countries around the world.
