The Great Glen

The far North of Scotland is, in effect, an island cut of from the remainder of the country by the waters of the Ness,Oich, Lochy and Linhe and four being lnked to the sea by the Caledonian Canal. These are some views from the area.


Castle Stalker stands on Loch Laich and history is a blood soaked saga of murder and treachery between the Stewarts of Appin and the Campbells.


The Three Sisters of Glen Coe and the scene of the infamous massacre of 1692


South West of Port Appin a rocky spur looks out to Loch Linnhe and the distant mountains of Kingairloch.
