Suffragette Documents Displayed For The First Time

o celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the formation of the Women’s Political and Social Union, The national archives are releasing a number of important documents and running a variety of special events.

This includes a moving selection of petitions, police files and private correspondence will go on display at Kew. This exhibition explores the issue of votes for women that divided the nation
